Common questions
How do I add an expense?
Type one line into the bar at the bottom of the Today tab and press return. For example, "100 hsbc lunch" records the amount, matches the account and keeps the rest as a note. Tap any entry to edit or delete it.
The category it picked is wrong
Tap the entry and choose the right category. The suggester learns from your corrections, so the same kind of expense should be categorised correctly next time. You can see what it has learned in Settings.
What does Oh My Cash Pro include?
Pro unlocks the Insights tab: spending trends, category breakdowns, month-to-month comparisons, weekday patterns and a year heatmap. Expense entry, history, budgets, exports and everything else in the app are free.
I subscribed but Insights is still locked
Open Settings, tap Subscription, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe, and that your device is online.
I reinstalled the app or got a new iPhone
Tap Restore Purchases in Settings to bring your subscription back. Your expense records are stored on the device, so restore them from a backup you exported, or from your iPhone's iCloud or computer backup.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select OhMyCash!. You can also use the Manage Subscription link in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Insights until the current period ends.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
Can I get my data out of the app?
Yes. In Settings you can export your expenses as CSV or JSON, or create a full backup you can restore later.
Where is my data stored?
Your expenses, categories, accounts and budgets stay on your iPhone. See the privacy policy for details.
